On Tuesday, August 17th, 2010, MediaBistro hosted it’s second Book Club party of the year, featuring some amazing authors showcasing their new books. A few lucky guests that arrived early were giving the chance to take a free books home. I was amongst those lucky few….
If you have no idea what I’m talking about you soon will! These are all names for the new Levi’s Curve ID jeans to hit the Levi’s stores this Summer/Fall 2010. Bloggers from around the NYC area gathered at the SOHO Levi’s store for a special event to get measured and try on these new jeans. The jeans are strictly for women, sorry men, but us ladies have a harder time finding the perfect pair of jeans; myself included.
On Wednesday, August 11, 2010, tons of NYC Bloggers and readers got together and networked like no other day, why?! because it was Blog Café 2.0!!
What is Blog Café 2.0?! You might ask…
Blog Café 2.0 is the second annual blog networking event, this is where blogger meets reader! Bloggers from NYC/NJ come out and network, exchange business cards, say hello to our readers and just have a good ol time.
After a long day, we ended the night at the AOL Blogger’s Night Out event at the Hudson Terrace. What a way to end the evening! This place is beautiful, from the couches, location, to the decor, it felt great to close Thursday night at the Hudson Terrace. AOL really hooked up for the bloggers, from Specialty blog drinks, to photo/video booths, to manicures, and Top Chef presentations, to AOL branded pillows on the leather couches, bloggers felt WELCOMED!
After the OpenSky event Kitty Bradshaw and I headed out to Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, were we met with Eb The Celeb and Melissa from O So Chic.
This sounds like a lot of fun, especially for all you Shoenistas, and fashion shoes lovers. Nina shoes is having a challenge where you’ll get to try different shoes (Nina shoes vs High-priced shoes).
Thursday, August 5, 2010 was a great day for Bloggers in NYC, with BlogHer Conference kicking off in NYC, many companies as well as bloggers took the opportunity to keep our schedules busy with fun networking events.
